Flexible elderly - oriented design to create a full - cycle vibrant senior community
The interior design is based on the functional positioning of the project: providing continuous care services for all age groups from active seniors, independent seniors, assisted seniors, seniors with dementia to nursing - care seniors. Besides considering the provision of high - quality residential spaces such as active - senior living apartments, community centers, health - care centers, leisure and entertainment spaces and health management facilities in product design, elements of Shanghai - style life are integrated into the details of elderly care. A large number of natural landscape designs and rich and bright natural colors are used, and combined with the variability of future use in design. A large number of elderly - friendly designs are adopted in terms of hardware facilities, landscape, etc. to create an ideal 360 - degree barrier - free elderly - care space for enjoyment.
Covered corridors in wind and rain to create a happy home with a strong sense of physical and mental belonging
Due to the limitations of the constructible area of the site, the project is divided into several staggered volumes, which are arranged in different elderly - friendly functional forms such as independent living areas, nursing units, professional nursing, memory impairment, activity centers, restaurants, outpatient clinics, and kitchens. All functional units adopt barrier - free design and are connected through a system of covered corridors in wind and rain, forming a unique long scenic corridor. The corridors adopt the form of overhanging eaves, which are light and convenient. The setting of the corridors is combined with the building canopies and integrated with the landscape lines of the park. The corridors also integrate the dynamic and static areas and the vibrant lobby of the entire senior community. The indoor and outdoor landscapes set off each other, and the functional spaces are compatible, facilitating the leisure and life of the elderly and creating themed and interesting spaces for seniors with different levels of vitality.
