With the advancement of prefabricated buildings, Zhongfang Architecture actively responds to the national and local green building initiatives by continuously enhancing its research and investment in prefabricated building technologies. This includes everything from early-stage visits to study component production techniques to developing modular systems, and completing pioneering prefabricated building projects in Shanghai, such as the Baoshan Sunac North Yulan Residence. Through numerous successful projects and research achievements, Zhongfang has accumulated significant experience in prefabricated building design.
 
Leveraging Zhongfang's BIM (Building Information Modeling) design strengths, research on the application of BIM in prefabricated component (PC) design is underway, and ALLPLAN software is being introduced to enable true resource sharing across design, detailing, production, and construction phases, minimizing issues caused by human error.
 
In line with Shanghai's prefabrication development plan, Zhongfang has strategically partnered with Urban Construction Materials Company to develop modular systems and is collaborating with the Shanghai Residential Development Center on the project "Research on Standardized Apartment Types and Common Components for Prefabricated Housing." This research has passed expert reviews and is being promoted in public housing projects across Shanghai.
