The design objective is to create a cultural hot spring tourism and leisure area with the culture of Fujian merchants as the core, hot spring health preservation and leisure as the features, and located among mountains and waters. It aims to build an ecological and environmentally friendly social demonstration area with an international perspective, which is quiet, warm, natural and full of vitality.
The key points in the planning and design lie in respecting the natural ecology and protecting the ecological environment; making use of the valuable surrounding landscapes, fully borrowing the scenery and reasonably creating landscapes; properly handling the relationship between the terrain and roads to maximize the utilization of the terrain; and dealing with the relationship between the terrain and buildings to give play to the advantages of mountainous buildings. The planning structure is "one core, four centers and multiple groups". With the central water landscape area as the soul, through four planning nodes including the entrance area, the mountaintop club area, the museum area and the landscape observation tower, a complete planning and landscape sight system is created. It connects various functional groups in series to form an organic whole.
The lobby of the boutique leisure hotel backs against the mountain and cascades down towards the entrance square layer by layer. The water feature slowly flows down from the upper hot spring guest rooms, passes through the lobby and forms the main water landscape of the entrance square. Seen from the direction of the entrance square or the main road, "the buildings follow the mountain terrain and water flows among them", fully demonstrating the landscape value of this area and fully reflecting the overall positioning and characteristics of the area.
The Fallingwater Villa takes its meaning from the fallen leaves flowing down along the mountain stream. By introducing the mountain stream into the landscape, a flowing water landscape area with cascading waterfalls is formed in front of the villa, which contrasts interestingly with the private hot spring pool of the villa. Together, they form the high-end leisure quality of the Fallingwater Villa standing against the mountain. The flowing water passes through the villa area, flows into the main body and lobby of the lower hotel, and then flows into the entrance square, forming the main water landscape element of the main entrance square. The hot spring resort hotel integrates functions such as hotel accommodation, catering, hot spring leisure and conference. Among them, functions like catering, hot spring leisure and conference can be independently operated externally, forming a major facility for the leisure and entertainment support of the project site. It has created an excellent place for vacation, relaxation and leisure among mountains and waters.
