Research on Standard Unit Types for Prefabricated Integrated Affordable Housing

Zhongfang Architecture, commissioned by the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Center, has undertaken the "Research on Standard Unit Types for Prefabricated Integrated Affordable Housing." This study focuses on the impact of PC (Precast Concrete) technology on the layout and production aspects of housing. The research examines the optimization of unit combinations, room widths, window dimensions, and the forms and sizes of components to enhance the prefabricated design. The aim is to reduce the number of PC templates, increase the repetition rate of components, and maximize both economic efficiency and comfort in housing design.
