SHANGHAI ZF ARCHITECTS Wins Multiple Awards at the Shanghai Affordable Rental Housing Design Competition

 

On November 1st, the "Shanghai Affordable Rental Housing Design Competition Awards Ceremony" was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall. Two projects submitted by ZF Architecture were recognized: * The Fantastic Drift of Junior Pai * won the Comprehensive Award (Urban Planning and Architecture Group), and *Urban Mountain Residence* received both the "Interior Design Award" and the " Household Design Award" in the same category. 

This competition, hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee and the Municipal Housing Bureau, and organized by the Shanghai Architectural Society, Real Estate Group, and Urban Investment Group, focused on exploring high-quality, secure living environments under the theme of "small apartments, full functionality, and joyful living." The goal was to encourage innovation in community planning, architectural forms, apartment layouts, residential spaces, public spaces, and public service facilities, creating excellent rental housing designs suited to Shanghai's urban characteristics.
